Alembria

Alembria is a nation of seafarers and pirates settling along the northern coast of the northern continent of the Eye.

People

Although Alembria goes miles inland, a vast majority of its people live on the coast. Alembrians love the sea and most of them spend a portion of their lives on the water. They ride the waters from Actorus to the western islands, trading and exploring the world from their home port in the north.

Alembrians are often found in Westhaven, Southport and Easthaven, and their ships have contributed to the success of those coastal cities.

Government and Economy

Alembria is lead by Siegler Freeman who is the chairman of the Alembrian Senate and has been for 20 years. The Alembrian government is simple - representatives from each area convene to discuss the national agenda and serve as a legislative body.

Naturally, Alembria's economy is based on ships, shipmaking and often transporting people and goods from the northern portions of the continent, especially given that the nations of Telwar, Kosska and Rajan are unprepared to deal with any more than small amounts of seafaring traffic.
