This category includes the various humanoid races of Snowblossom. These races are mostly suitable for player characters. A full list of pages is available at the bottom of this page. What follows is a short summary of how these races are represented in the Eye.

The Races

Deva

There are few deva in the Eye - immortal outsiders are not generally welcome inside Mother Dawn's Eye. However, the deva are generally a special exception. They are, after all, not truly earthshaking divine beings like angels, but rather they have a spark of mortality to them. Still, they are not common.

Dragonborn

The dragonborn of the Eye once held a great expansive kingdom along the southern coast of the Northern Shard. Many ruins of their ancient empire still stand today. However, at some point, their empire collapsed and their culture disappeared. For countless centuries, many of the dragonborn lived as slaves in human nations. Recently, a rebellion in the kingdom of Ghem has created a dragonborn nation-state, and their culture is undergoing a revival.

Drow

The drow of the Eye are one of the three races descended from the Telwadir, a powerful fey race that formed the first civilization in the Eye. They are not the evil race of other worlds, but are a secretive group who tend to live in small, hidden communities in the shadows of deep forests, craggy mountains, and outside (or under) large cities.

Eladrin

The eladrin of the Eye are one of the three races descended from the Telwadir, a powerful fey race that formed the first civilization in the Eye. The eladrin focus on arcane magic and tradition. The eladrin mostly live in small, walled cities of arcane wonder, where they welcome other races as visitors and traders but rarely as permanent residents.

Elves

The elves of the Eye are one of the three races descended from the Telwadir, a powerful fey race that had the first civilization in the Eye. The elves focus on nature, worship primal spirits, and live on the fringes of cities.

Orcs

The orcs of the Eye would seem insane to their counterparts in other worlds. In the Eye, the orcs embrace a rich history of nomadic tribes of their ancestors, living in close-knit families in most cases. They embrace honor and tradition, and they are not the ruthless barbarians that pervades the stories other races tell of them. While they are ever ready to make war, the orcs follow strict rules about combat, including respecting their enemy's dead, and fair treatment of prisoners of war. More than any other race in the Eye, the orcs revere primal spirits and gods, very rarely following any divine religion.

Tieflings

The tieflings of the Eye are believed to have their origins in the now-decimated southern continent of the Eye. Of course, many stories exist to tell the story of their Hellish past.

Warforged

The warforged of the Eye are called the Soulforged. Their origins are unknown, but they are otherwise like their counterparts in other worlds.
