Edict is the goddess of knowledge and justice. She is Unaligned and a member of the Pantheon. She is the companion (and some say lover) of Brand.

The Three Tenets of Edict

• Seek knowledge and spread it. Knowledge is its own end. Seek facts over opinion, seek truth over hearsay and seek the neutral observer over the extremists. Once you have refined it, spread the knowledge to others with a neutral voice.

• Seek justice and spread it. A law is not justice - justice is the spirit of fairness and cooperation, the sense of right when all parties reach a compromise. Justice is receiving what is owed, giving what is earned and resolving disputes to the reasonable satisfaction of all. Spread these ideals wherever you go and always be wary of those who claim to know justice personally.

• Stamp out corruption. The letter of the law will be twisted by the unjust to work against the spirit of the law. Beware those who lust for power.
