Eventide
From Snowblossom
Eventide is the goddess of water and of the moon. Eventide is also the goddess of secrets. She is Unaligned and is a member of the Pantheon.
Contemplative and slow to act, Eventide values consideration and observation over zealous action.
The Three Tenets of Eventide
- The water is still and the moon shifts faces each night. Like water, be still and quiet. Contemplate actions before taking them. Like the moon, look from every perspective and see every angle of the world.
- Be not zealous nor indifferent, but instead seek the balance. There is a balance in the world between the Good and the Evil, the wild and the tamed and the just and the unjust. Never leap to a side, but instead consider the middle. Watch the still water and look for the moon's reflection.
- Keep hidden those things which should be secret. Not all truth is helpful. Not all things need be known. Be careful when divulging things - secrets are often better kept than shared. Likewise, some things are best hidden from those who would act in haste, those who are quick to judge and condemn.
