The continents of the Eye are known as the Shards.

The Shards

• Alshar: This shard is the largest continent, covering the northern quarter of the Eye.
• The Purelands: This shard is in the eastern quarter of the eye. It is a land of untouched purity, protected by primal guardians and populated by primal tribes of various races of humanoids.
• Shoyuma: This shard is the smallest continent, a crescent-shaped land in the far east of the Eye.
• The Broken Coasts: This continent is actually thousands of islands covering the western quarter of the Eye. It is spotted with kingdoms and would-be empires.
• Uukatosh: The southernmost shard is a land of ruin, where elemental chaos and hideous aberration ravage the lands and the creatures. Most creatures do not venture there - while there are tales of treasures in Uukatosh, most find only death and destruction.
