History
The story of Snowblossom is the oldest story in the Eye. It dates back many thousands of years, and it is one of the earliest stories ever recorded.
Ancient Telwar
The city of Telwar was the first city in the Eye, according to the elves and the eladrin. When the Telwadir were first placed in the eye by their ancient predecessors, the world was still wild and untamed. Telwar was a magical walled city, and completely self-sufficient. By the laws of the city's elders, no one was allowed to leave the city.
Snowblossom was one of the Keepers, the guards who patrolled the walls and kept the dangerous wilds out of Telwar.
The Quest
The Keepers could not keep everything outside the walls. And when a horde of trolls attacked, they took a small elven girl - Nena - with them. Snowblossom wanted to chase the trolls and try to recover the girl, but her commanders would not allow it. Despite a promise of exile from the elders of Telwar, she left the city to chase the trolls.
Her only companion on her quest was a childhood friend of hers, a wizard named Kamizar. Kamizar had always wanted to leave the city walls, curious about what mysteries might lie beyond the city's walls.
Snowblossom and Kamizar spent twenty-five days tracking the trolls. In the course of the quest, Kamizar became more and more tuned into the power of the wilds. While the duo fought dire beasts, Kamizar learned to take the forms of these beasts and gain their power. Thus, Kamizar became the first druid in the Eye.
The duo fought giants and trolls along their way, finding that the trolls had delivered the girl to a great evil dragon. When Snowblossom and Kamizar found the great wyrm, they fought to rescue the elf girl and slew the dragon. Finally triumphant, they took the long journey back to Telwar.
The Return to Telwar
When they reached the city of Telwar, Kamizar and Snowblossom were immediately arrested and the young girl was placed into quarantine. The elders were afraid of what Snowblossom might have brought back with her.
However, during her public trial, Snowblossom told of all that she had seen, and how the world outside the walls of Telwar were like the stories of the Feywild, the legendary realm of untamed magic from where the Leshii had come.
Snowblossom's tale of the world struck a chord in Telwar. Even before her quest, the city was full of rumbling unrest. Many Telwadir wished to explore the world around them, and Snowblossom's tale fueled their desires.
The Conflict
Kamizar and Snowblossom were imprisoned, and the city of Telwar was burning with unrest. Many factions of the city argued over the justice of the imprisonment, even the city's elders themselves.
Eventually, the arrival of the drow, strange elves who had secretly been living outside the walls of Telwar, showed the city's elders that controlling the fate of every Telwadir was impossible. They issued a decree - every Telwadir was given free reign to choose their fate.
Nearly half of the Telwadir left the city with Snowblossom's party - amongst them, the young elven girl Nena and her family. These Telwadir became the elves. This departure was the final event in The Divide, splintering the Telwadir forever into three distinct races.
As a Deity
Snowblossom does not have a large organized church devoted to her. Rather, she is called upon by individuals who consider their quest as impossible as hers and worshipped by small sects throughout the Eye, especially on the Northern Shard.
