Tieflings are a race of fiendish humanoids who are found across the Eye.

Origins

The truth about the origin of the tieflings is lost to the ages. It is known that they split from humanity over two thousand years ago, and it is known suspected it had to do with the fiends who ever threaten an invasion of the Eye.

Rumor has it that an empire of humans was at odds with the ancient Engineers. Though generally passive, the Engineers were well-armed and their cities were well-defended. The story goes that the human society made a pact with fiends in an attempt to overcome the Engineers at long last.

Most say that these first tieflings paid dearly for their compact with the devils, and despite their transformation, the tieflings lost to the Engineers and were spread by the winds across the Eye.

Some say that these tieflings overcame the Engineers, but there is evidence that the Engineers existed long after the first tieflings appeared in the Eye.
